Meet your Shadow Side

Meet Your Shadow Side Workshop is part of a series of weekend events for The Shade of You Exhibition, 26th-29th October at St Saviours Hall. Designed to coincide with the Hunter's Moon.

On the cusp of Samhain, when the veils between the worlds become thin, we will gather in circle to tend to our shadows. 

After a cacao ceremony to open our hearts, we will prepare ourselves with tarot cards, shadow journaling and essential oils for a guided journey to meet our shadows.

Katharina Walder, a Medicine Woman and experienced guide to the shadow side, will lead us into a guided meditation to come face to face with the parts of ourselves we don’t want to look at. We will have time to sit with them and get to know them. She will guide us then back into the space, into ways of integrating the things we’ve learned about ourselves and making sure that everyone will be in a good place to get back out into the world.

What to bring:

> Yoga mat (or similar)

> Blanket/cushions (to make yourself comfortable sitting/ lying on the floor)

> Eye mask or something to cover the eyes

> Pen & Journal

> Arts material, if you like

> Your favourite cup for cacao, a bowl and a spoon
